RollRelief privacy policy

Last updated 26 October 2026. Controller: OSHY LABS LTD. Contact: support@oshylabs.eu. Applies to the RollRelief: Photo Cleanup app for iOS and Android.

RollRelief does not collect your photos or videos. There is no account and no sign in, and your media is never uploaded. Everything the app analyses stays on your device. This page explains, accurately, the small amount of information that does leave your phone.

Who we are

RollRelief is operated by OSHY LABS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16883720, registered office 100 St Pier Court, 549 Green Street, London E13 9GU, United Kingdom. OSHY LABS LTD is the data controller for the information described here.

Summary

What the app accesses on your device

With your permission, RollRelief reads the photo and video library on your device. It uses each item's size, dimensions, duration, creation date and basic type, for example whether an item is a screenshot, to group items into review categories. This processing happens entirely on your device.

If you grant limited or partial access, the app only sees the items you selected, and results are labelled as partial.

Analytics: anonymous usage events only

RollRelief sends a fixed list of usage events to PostHog, Inc., an analytics service hosted for us in the European Union, so we can see which parts of the app are used and where people get stuck. The events are:

Nothing else is recorded: no photos, filenames, media hashes, faces, location, advertising identifiers or other device identifiers. Events carry only a random identifier generated inside the app on first launch. It is not linked to your RevenueCat ID, your store account or anything that identifies you. PostHog's automatic screen capture, session recording, person profiles and location lookup are turned off. If this list ever grows, this policy will be updated before the version that changes it is released.

Subscriptions and purchases

To show plans, complete a purchase, restore purchases and check that a subscription is still active, the app connects to RevenueCat, Inc., a subscription management service acting on our behalf. This happens when you open the paywall, buy or restore a plan, and when the app starts. RevenueCat processes:

Payment details: none. Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own terms. We never receive or store your card or bank details.

Install attribution (Android only)

When you install the app from one of our own links, for example a link in a TikTok bio or a button on our website, Google Play passes the app a short campaign label: the source, medium, campaign name and which video or button the link belonged to. The app reads this label once, on its first launch, keeps only those campaign fields, and stores them with your purchase status in RevenueCat so we can tell which of our own posts led to a RollRelief Pro subscription. The label contains no personal data, no advertising identifier and nothing you do in the app. Installs that come from searching the store carry no label. On iPhone the app reads no install label.

Why we use it and our legal basis

Subscription information is used to provide what you paid for: unlocking Pro, restoring it on a new install, and ending it when a subscription is cancelled, expires or is refunded. The legal basis is performance of our contract with you, and we keep transaction records where the law requires it. Anonymous usage events and install attribution are used to improve the app and understand which of our posts work; the legal basis is our legitimate interest, using only data that does not identify you.

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than the service providers and payment processors described here.

Where it is processed and how long we keep it

RevenueCat and the app stores may process subscription information outside the UK and European Economic Area, including in the United States, under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Anonymous usage events are stored by PostHog on servers in the European Union. Subscription records are kept as long as needed to provide Pro and meet legal and accounting obligations, then deleted.

Deletion of your media

RollRelief only removes items you have explicitly selected, through your operating system. On iOS, Apple shows its own confirmation and confirmed items move to Recently Deleted, recoverable for 30 days. On Android, your device may show a confirmation before removing selected items. The app cannot and does not delete anything silently, in the background or without your confirmation.

Your controls and rights

You can change or withdraw photo access at any time in your device settings. We hold no copy of your media, so there is no media for us to delete.

You can cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play or App Store subscription settings. To ask for access to, or deletion of, the subscription records linked to your anonymous app user ID, email support@oshylabs.eu with your store order number (for example a Google Play order ID beginning "GPA.") so we can find the record. We hold nothing else that identifies you.

If you are in the UK or EU you can complain to your data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you are a United States resident, we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross context behavioural advertising.

Children

RollRelief is not directed at children under 13.
